Yes, there is such a thing as too much sleep. Not everyone needs 8 hours sleep a night and oversleeping can often do more harm than good. I personally fall into the category of someone who can easily sleep for 12 hours but feels best after 6-7 hours of good quality sleep. Sleep is our body's time to recuperate, rejuvenate and repair. So be kind to yourself. Get good quality sleep and give your body what it needs to support you during the day. When you do, you'll discover the right amount of good quality sleep that leaves you feeling fresh in the morning and alert during the day.
